Does anybody know if microsoft would still fix an xbox 360 with a removed warranty sticker if you pay the money they are asking for?

They would charge you an arm and a leg to fix a console without a sticker. They would fix it if you payed them, but you're probably just better off finding a deal on a arcade system and then selling your powerbrick and broken 360 seperately.

yeah they will. Its like 120 bucks to get your rrod repaired. If your sticker is fuckerd. Least thats what the customer support guy said.... cept i think he said buggerd. I like fuckerd better.

They will ship it back unrepaired and charge shipping. Loads of cases on here where MS turns down repairs even for payment. If the console has been tampered with their policy is NOT to repair it at all.
Check the limited terms and conditions at Xbox.com It clearly states

It will also void your Limited Warranty, and may make your Xbox Product ineligible for authorized repair, even for a fee.

They don't repair modded boxes or boxes where the security has been tampered.

Mabey they refer you to another source now?? You never know. But im guessing your right chancer. I may have had a customer support guy who's 30yrs old and fixes em outta his moms basement. You just never know.

they will not fix a tampered console at all, even for money. and i wouldnt expect them to either. if they did, it would also lead to a whole lot of shit. for example, i could cut my console in half with a chainsaw and get it replaced by only paying the percentage of a new console. or i could melt the whole thing down to a ball and do the same thing.
