Live Issues With Downloading Stuff... Options

Its really strange, some things download fine and others give me issues. The older halo 3 mappack will not download no matter what i do it will pop up after downloading about 25% of it and say "can't download halo 3 map pack" and it says the same thing for something im downloading for MLB2k8 it gets stuck on 61%, up to 61% it goes fine but then it just freezes and gives me the error saying "can't download". does anyone know why its doing this or how to fix it?

my cousin cant download dead rising. its stops at 25%. i would like to know an answer too.

Ok i figured out what my problem was... somehow my hard drive got messed up. After i continually couldn't download stuff (it randomly messed things up, some where ok others weren't) So i took my memory card and tried to download the same things that would not download to my HDD. When i did this everything downloaded absolutely fine to my memory card (512mb). I tried some downloadable content for MLB2k8 and it would get to different percentages complete then it would give me the can not download error. Then i tried it but changed the storage location to the memory card and everything went smooth as butter. So i went to walmart and picked up another 120gb hard drive and redownloaded everything i had (about 10gb or so) and it all downloaded fine with no problems what so ever. So you guys might want to try the downloading to the memory card thing and see if that works for u, if so you may have a similar issue.

It was most likely not your fault xbox live was very slow on this day and when I tried to download the COD4 mappack I did not even manage to get to the details page of it as I kept getting error messages...
My friends kept going online and offline every 30 seconds as well
So if you are not very unlucky it was live itself that caused your problems

It was most likely not your fault xbox live was very slow on this day and when I tried to download the COD4 mappack I did not even manage to get to the details page of it as I kept getting error messages...

So if you are not very unlucky it was live itself that caused your problems

I would normally have agreed to this other than the fact that i had been trying to download these items for about a week prior to this. Not just that, but the items would download fine onto my memory card but would freeze and give me the "cant download" error if i had my hard drive selected as the storage location. I got frustrated at one point and even formatted the HDD with the same results afterwards.
