I really don't think they'll release a controller, that would be pretty desperate. Instead use the 360 camera for motion capture, as they had mentioned they were working on this before. The problem with that is you can't read the pitch, yaw, roll, acceleration etc from the source. The camera will only be able to detect position information, and the software side will be able to estimate acceleration, but you probably won't be able to do things like rotate your arm and have that translate into the game. Maybe if they combine that with a dance mat they'll be able to make some sort of action game... But from what I read they were only talking about using it in sports games. Also, why would an anonymous source go to MTV with game news, of all places?
