What the hell? This was 60 pages or so, now it is 13. Damn someone has been deleting.

I am confident that the FW will be dumped out and be able to be hacked. It will take some time, be harder than the 79 passkey, but will happen.

Maybe, we might even have to desolder the MTK chip and put a different one on there. (one with pinouts for external flash?) Now that would be insane. I could never do that, Well maybe...would take me forever...anyway...I think this thing will be hacked.

Why does that look like someone threw it together while they were writing an email out? Looks all fake to me. You prolly send them your console and some cash and they keep it. If the Lite-On Drive was hacked then it would be news all over the place! Front page news here. Also the PS3 is not hacked that would be Major news. There cant be any new firmware if we cant write to the drive or dump the whole firmware.

I had a customer tell me the other day that a guy in Ohio offerers a 360 chip that would allow him to play Blu-Ray and all regions of games on his 360. There are some real weirdos out their!

We take the liteon drive to a park in Sydney and using the trench coat method we flash it..
multiple times.. until it also turns into a flasher.. then your drive is flashed..

If you are a serious customer then send us your drives/consoles and sorry for taking the piss.. If
you happen to be a competitor then sorry I am not giving you any free xbox 360 tutorial...

I had also emailed Modz4gamers and this was their reply

Hello

The xbox 360 with a liteon drive can be modded to play backups.. if the liteone is the new one
that everyone is saying cannot be modded.. these will cost $160 to mod to play backups.

Regarding the PS3 these can be modded to play PS2 backups only and other ps2 homebrew
software and this does not include the 40Gb PS3..
