im a total noob so sorry if im askin in wrong place

i want to play "back ups" on me 360 and wondering if there's any good tutorial's around what could show you how to do this by your self, i know theres a risk of breaking your 360 but its doesnt bother me, ive had the 360 since day it came out and never played it so it hasnt had any updates from microsoft

hey thanks for your reply and info

so from whats ive red all i have to do is open up the xbox 360 connect the DVD drive to my pc through the sata cable, and use the firmware boot disk to flash the drive

then is that it the 360 will be able to play back ups?

and if so which firmware is recomended,i got the 360 when it first come out and its never been updated and the DVD looks identical to the samsung drive shown in some pics ive seen

I'll refer you back to the link I posted - it states which firmware is recommended for each model of drive.
