I have to agree. The problem is that it's a club. It could be so much more but really it's just Microsoft's way of gathering more profits.

They don't let 12-month trial users have premium membership anymore. Boo!
(I know it said that when I signed up, but I was able to download "premium" content from the old site).
The service should really be free to Gold members, anyway.
