There's only one 3.3v.

Two grounds, one for eject, and one for mode b.

Hi guys, great thread its so hard to find info on this mod blink.gif

I'm using an old NEC 3500a drive to house my 16D2S and i want to use the original eject switch, but that looks like it only has 2 connections and not 3 connections as in RDC`s post.

I've cut the board at the yellow line, but don't know if its the correct switch or how to wire it up. as i'm rubbish at electronics sad.gif

I will be adapting a sata extension lead to power the drive, which has 12, 5 & 3.3v, so no need for the regulator.

To use the original switch, you will need to use a small flip flop circuit.

How did you fit the xbox drive in there, can you post some pics?

Does the above circuit really work? I'm in the process of putting a pc in a xbox 360 case and would love to use the original tact button from the console for the eject.
