MS are still in front with hardware sales. all the figures show it. They need to step up their game to keep that same position by this time next year. The PS3 is 15 months old in Europe and despite slow games releases and various feature differences that seem to put people off buying, is not very far behind the 360.
W/E 21 June hardware sales were nearly double that of the 360. The feature set is about to change on the PS3 and home is to be released most likely timed for Xmas. Games are increasing weekly, so MS needs a counterstrike announcement...something big please. If Sony drop in a price cut then MS will have to act, but they should strike first and soon (E3)

Agreed SONY has been making a lot of head way in regard to features and upcoming games, and for some reason MS hasnt really done anything to pull away infact I might go so far as to say they have been stagnent. If MS do indeed want the 360 to remain ahead of the competition they are indeed going to have to start pushing some new or updated features out the door. I for 1 can think of numerous things that would inrich the live service as I'm sure many other can, and yet the spring update was skipped??? FOr having only 2 major updates a year letting one slip by is almost unforgivable and if MS do lose the lead they have made in customers and feature set they will have no one to blame but themselves.

For real though, EU people are getting screwed. Higher priced xboxes, xbox live is much more expensive, they dont get new games right away, and also some other reason I cant think of yet. I believe all M$ has to do is fix them problems and it is easy sailing for them in europe. However I am not sure why everything is much more expensive, so I guess it could be impossible for them to do anything about it?

You've got it wrong, fanboys have previously quoted VGChartz in relation to Europe. Claiming they have overtaken in Europe. iirc there are about 2 relevant news articles since the "dominating worldwide" claims using VGChartz and as the source fanboys were quoting.

As for VGChartz correlating to this MS release - even a liar tells the truth 1/3 of the time. Where does it say MS was using VGChartz as their source?

You're telling me no one was agreeing with Sony when they said they edged out the 360 in Europe in a previous news article, and early on in the year when they said they were "dominating worldwide". You'll find the general consensus among the Sony crowd all over the net was that PS3 edged out the 360 already in Europe.

It's funny because Sony did in fact say they were "dominating worldwide" in a previous news article. Fact. So that's strike 1. Second factual information "oh noes he said Sony crowd were using VGChartz as their source for the claims!" - they were. There are two previous news articles after the "dominating worldwide" claims Sony crowd were referring to which mentioned PS3 edged out 360 in Europe. Heres one. So that's strike 2.
