I thought people just used an Xtreme version if they wanted non-stealth FW. It seems like the best way to avoid confusion in to leave the "i" out of it. I may be missing something about the differences between iXtreme and Xtreme. I guess there are other reasons the firmware is stealth other than blocking non-stealth games, but if someone wanted to play on live i don's see why they would purposely play a non-stealth game.
the purpose of the non stealth firmware is for those who have alot of the first round non stealth games who cant play them with an iXtreme firmware.
or for those like myself who dont care about live on a hacked console and have a 2nd console just for xbox live.
if those people made backups using the original non stealth methods and, say can't make another backup for whatever reason, then they need a non stealthed firmware.
i'm still using 5.2 firmware and honestly have saw no reason to upgrade. but its fantastic to see the crew still pumping out updates.
keep up the good work guys!
