It's kind of curious that we haven't been hearing about a price drop on the Arcade. Doesn't it sell for $279? I'll feel sorry for anyone that pays that not realizing what they could have got for $20 more.

Announced over a year ago. The pro was the HDMI version. When I bought an extra 360 you could choose premium (no HDMI) and pro (HDMI). I guess now they are all Pro.

well if your 360 goes in for repair they come back with hdmi to. my frends did im assuming its because they no longer even make the older ones. and i just sent mine out for repair so we will see if my old v1 comes back with hdmi.

I've sent mine like 1 month ago and I got a new one without HDMI.

I've never gotten hdmi back when I returned a console, in fact if I remember right they even make a special newer revision of the non hdmi motherboard to fit in the non hdmi cases. I'm sending another console back though so I hope I'm wrong and I get an hdmi console back.

I just talked to an employee from GameStop yesterday. He's claiming that the rumor isn't true and the Xbox 360 price isn't going to be dropped to $299. I think he was just lying to me or whatever.
