XLink Kai v7.4.15
Posted by XanTium | July 11 23:30 EST | News Category: Xbox_Xbox360

Team XLink released a new version of their global gaming network (that allows you to play system-link enabled games (incl. Xbox and 360) online for free):
[QUOTE]
Kai(info) 7.4 has been out for just over a week and we are happy to report over 20% adoption. Thanks to everyone for your bug reports and skin contributions.

Of course, we would like to finalize 7.4 and retire the earlier versions of Kai as soon as possible. Today's release contains a number of bug fixes and additional support for PPC-based Mac systems and a fix for our Japanese users. So, download the latest and report any issues to the TX mods.

Changes...
* Updated: OS X Universal binary (PPC and Intel support for OX 10.4 and above)
* Fixed: Internet Explorer(info) 6 support in the Web UI (you really should use Safari, Opera, Firefox, or at least upgrade--IE6 is seven years old now!)
* Fixed: Japanese installations with Netmon driver installed.
* Fixed: engine crash when using /orb command

as far as i remember 360 games dont worry very well on tunnel software due to ping time outs correct? You have to be actually close to the person you are playing? Last time I logged on was when i used it a lot with original xbox games

360 games need a ping below 40ms I think, else it won't allow the online play over system link.

Answer time from xbox to xbox must be below 30 ms.
This is nearly impossible to reach even if the router to router
ping is below 30 ms.
BTW: XBOX-Live packets are larger than ping packets
and therefor have a longer running time than a small PING packet.

I recently set up a VPN from router to router over
the Internet. Ping from router to router was 24ms to 26ms.
System link with XBOX1 Games (Halo2) worked excellent.
But 360 Games do not work: The connection is always refused.

So I guess unless MS removes this stupid time limit or unless a
hacked BIOS comes out that removes this time limit KAI & VPN
does not work with 360 games (System link).
