so basically to those that hate the new update they turn on the xbox and push the guide button to get the old blades system. i like that they left that option.

at first i thought taht the "squares" representing my games etc would be dynami, but it loosk like "i am legend" will always be on my dash, and so will need for speed... i hope im wrong, but with 2 different suers both having the same dash, it looks like anotehr eye-sore in my book. sad.gif

The more I see the less I like sad.gif . It looks so plain and boring. It kinda reminds me of the XMB on my PSP (which I also dislike). All they needed to do was reorganize the Marketplace blade to make things easier to find, not reinvent the entire dash!. This one actually looks like more of a pain in the ass to navigate compared to the old one!. It seems to me like the real reason for the new look was to give themselves more room/opportunities to sell advertising space! mad.gif .

And what about gamerpics?, I don't want to have to use some stupid headshot of a cartoon character of myself. At least give the option to use the old style dash instead of forcing everyone to use this one.

I am really worried about this dash change being forced on us. It looks like a combination of the wii and the iphone. Which is probably exactly what they were going for. I really liked the dash the way it was, and what about any theme/gamerpic i bought. I much prefer my gamerpic of Lou from PSU then a cartoon "mii" clone.

unless they are hiding them - it looks like there are no active ads. unless the dashboard supports pop-ups!

as long as everything is easy enough to find I don't care... the whole avatar thing strikes me as kinda lame unless I can suit up in a stealth suit - night vision goggles and all and get achievements for snapping other avatars necks!

A feature that I really like is to have blades showup on top of the game when they are requested... With the new interface this cool looking effect is apparently lost. Having avatars has potential but if I have the choice between the current GUI and the new, which reminds me of PS3's GUI (gosh I hate my PS3's GUI) I would most probably choose the old in a heart beat.

There must be something that can be done with the old dash to be suitable for more content...
