Bungie's new project was planned to be released at E3, but it seems like their publisher changed the plans. From bungie.net:

Note: While Bungie became an independent studio, afaik Microsoft is still their publisher.
*Update* The 'publisher' is confirmed to be Microsoft by Bungie's Luke Smith on neogaf.com. Why did MS block the announcement?

Halo Wars looks abit sucky atm. I play PC RTS's all the time and nothing about Halo Wars strikes me as standing out from the crowd. I head this new game was meant to be more like Ghost Recon/GoW style game?

Amen to the first part of that.
Who ever doesn't like Halo, also doesn't like ice cream as well as women laugh.gif

Seriously though, I was looking forward to Bungie finally revealing their 3rd person Halo prequel game but I guess we'll have to wait for Comic-Con or something.... It wouldn't make sense to reveal it at TGS....
Perhaps they might be planning an X08-9 or something for Europe....

It'd be nice if (assuming it's H4 or something) it had a release in Fall 2009. There are plenty of good games coming out in the next few months, so I'd rather it come out later when I can really enjoy it. Kind of like how we had Gears one year and then Halo 3 the next.

I think their secret project is a new controller shaped like a hand making a circle like this O| and you put the open part over your junk. Whenever you sound like you are enjoying a game of halo it vibrates for your satisfaction. This will keep even the worst of Halo haters satisfied.
