Today I installed a set of Talismoon Whisper fans as my goal was to reduce the noise levels at the dashboard.

If you are after a quieter system fan, then save your time/money unless you just want them to look pretty.

By the way, they are installed in a Zephyr HDMI Arcade.

What you have there Sir is a faulty fan. I've the same fan fitted on one of my 360s and it sounds nowhere near as loud as that! Contact the place you bought it from and ask for an exchange (show them the video as proof!).

I was under the impression that the Whisper fans are meant to be quieter than the quietest stock fan and I have the loudest stock fan fitted (Delta's) - Is this correct?

Do you think eBay is flooded with cheap copies. The packaging has a sticker correcting the word 'concole' with 'console'.

I got one and it was louder. I'm considering doing a total mod and pulling all the guts out and sticking em in something else so I can get just one big really noiseless fan. Any suggestions or sites I should look at for this?

I have a replacement stock set of Nidec's arriving tomorrow but wont get a replacement Whisper until Friday.

My 650W Corsair PSU is quieter than the 360's fans as well as every other fan in my PC. Maybe you can install 2 seperate fans as long as they are the same size/power etc. A pro will need to confirm this.

It might be worth seeking advice from these guys..
