Clever marketing, it would be a good move IMO (if in fact it's true). The 360 is already cheaper than the Wii here in the UK so this would really help widen the 360's audience even more. Just like I bought Rock Band for the drums or Guitar Hero for the guitar I can see myself buying this motion controller and game bundle for some Wii style party gaming.

First MS was promoting the Wii60, then it backfired, and now they're actually becoming it themselves... even though they've always been stating they're not competing with the Wii...

Don't get me wrong I believe this is coming, but if it's planned for a holiday 2008 release then why haven't they shown it off yet.

Totally agree with Achtung - why haven't we seen MN playing with one yet? We've seen Lips via XBLM and You're in the Movies etc, I'd say a motion controller was a big deal - it would have been talked about before now.

When will the motion controller rumors stop? I guess when they announce one, but to be honest it's not that big a deal. Even if it was released I wouldn't want to use it.

If the price drops to that I'll cry though. Damn near as expensive as a PSP (maybe that'll make Sony lower the PSP price point then...).

I would think they would have demoed it by now also for an 08 bundle deal.

That sad I would hope all skus would come with motion control as seperating skus seems bad... if you want good motion games and compatability you want everyone to have the controller.

That said I would like a motion controller but it's not a huge deal to me as I don't think motion control will end up being big on the 360.

that's a great response....MS has been separating Skus since launch and as frustrating as it is for us, it seems to be working for them.
A big question for me is, would they have sold as many consoles if there was only ever 1 sku? It's like the licks to a tootsie pop, we'll never know!

What sucks even more is, since MS has had the "success" they have had this round they will be sure to release multiple skus next round too.

But, to keep myself on the topic of motion controler and the new bundle.....WHATEVER! I won't buy it (bundle) no matter how cute the packaging is. But I will buy a controller if it is no more expensive than the regular wireless controller.

Its not just motion control... and typically just steering a racecar with tilt sucks.

The Wii really does have a nice innovative controller. The split design, the IR pointer in the Wiimote. The new 1:1 motion plus coming out. It all works together in the best titles.

Its not something MS can just copy partly and be back in the game....

I don't think this is true. It will be a cold icy day in hell when MS gives a shit about it's customers. All they do is release crap and badge it with different trim levels to trick people. I don't give a shit....even if it ends up being true. We all know that ps3 will dominate the market.
