i have seen pictures of peoples ps3 case with leds installed in them around the bdvd drive i wanna say it was the sleeper mod the case looks normal when off but when its turned on the case turns translucent black with the leds showing does anyone know how to do this?

no the leds will light up inside of the case giving it a transparent black look

So you're asking how to put LED's in the PS3 that turn on when the PS3 and they show through the top?

oh; well I'm actually working on the exact mod atm; basically you take the top 2 covers off; cut the frame cover with a dremel; get LED's appropriate resistors and mount them were you want them. When I finish mine I'll post a tutorial.

I doing a Mod with my ps3 and white XBox 360 were you take a dreml and dremel out the PLAY STATION 3 and XBOX 360 and fill in the letters with epoxy resin (clear coat) and When the epoxy resin drys up it will be a nice clear lettering and then you can put leds behind the Playstaion 3 and it will light it up nicely then clear coat the outside to get a nice mirror finish and will be way better then see leds through black clear case
