Best news article in a while. Not because of the content, but because they used the word 'clusterfuck' in a sentance

Still, this sucks for Japanese X360 owners.
I feel bad for them, really.
I mean these cats are pretty hardcore for buying an expensive non-Japanese console with very little local developer support, and this is what they get from Square? That's a Square slap in the face (pun intended).
It goes to show how far Spuare's up $ony's @$$ets....
But come to think of it, these Japanese Xbox 360 owners probably own PS3's anyway.
I mean they are hardcore gamers, only hardcore Japanese gamers would buy an Xbox 360 for a couple of exclusive RPG's. These same hardcore gamers have to have the extra cash to burn, so I'm pretty sure these guys are likely to also own a PS3....
The 5 360 owners in Japan who don't also have a PS3 are more than welcome to import the Asian version... half the games I got for my Japanese console are the 'Asian' versions because they're more likely to be in English, though if the Asian version doesn't contain Japanese text, I can see how this could be a problem. As far as region flagging goes, though, I haven't run across an 'Asian' game that wouldn't play on my Japanese 360 (or maybe I have it backwards, and I haven't found a Japanese game that doesn't play on my Asian 360...). Either way, I believe NTSC/J is NTSC/J, just as PAL in Germany is PAL in London (though content of the release itself may differ).
Also, the Japanese 360 owners probably didn't buy it just for Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia & Trusty Bell; I'm sure they've also gotten things like 'The Idolm@ster' ('Live For You' version now available), Culdcept Saga, Lost Planet (I met nothing but Japanese players the first day I played this... only time ever, on XBL), Zoids (Infinity, or Neo), Zegapain NOT and/or XOR (space shooters like that are popular over there), and Tengai Makyou: Ziria (Wish I could find that one at a decent price). There's some other titles that were developed over there (Wasn't Kingdom Under Fire from a Japanese dev?), but that's a decent sized library of Japanese titles (not to mention they also get many of the popular US games, such as Gears).
