Probably not that many people will find this useful, but sooner or later ya may tear up a trace or just be curious what goes where and on that day..... wink.gif

Click any of the pics for a much larger 1800 x 840 or so version of the image, can't really make out too much on these and I wasn't going to post them in here, but on those ya can make out about all you'll probably ever need too for sure.

Hi

I joined this forum so that i could ask you an important question

I use the older wireless matrix controller

After removing the rapid fire mod from my right trigger i accidently unsoldered the middle trigger pin and scratched some of the traces

I was wondering if it was possible for you to show where the three pins of the right trigger connect to so that i can wire the trigger pins there instead uhh.gif

Thanks

I wrecked my circuit board and i just wondered if anyone knew what the three pins for the right trigger do like what each pin does and where it is wired to.

Top pin is Ground

Middle pin is the Wiper (signal) - Runs to the controller IC.

Bottom pin is the Analog line Voltage - Power for all of the POTs, Sticks and Triggers.

This is the same for all of the versions of 360 controller except for the new Wireless CG/2 versions, they have the Voltage and Ground reversed.

So from looking at the board. If I wanted to add an external button to the A or B button I would attach like so:

Where do I attach the wires for the CG board? I seen it in this thread for a different board, but not for the CG.

I want to duplicate(extra button externally) to the A or the B button.

I am testing a handbrake for Forza 4 and want to make sure it works before I go and solder/glue to my 300 wheel biggrin.gif. I know the wheel has a different board, but I want to make sure the function of the handbrake switch works for the game.

The CG and CG2 do not have nice solder spots to attach wires like the Matrix version boards do. You need to prep a Via and solder to it on those boards. The only easy thing about them is they are Common Ground, so one side of all of the buttons is Ground.

All of the different version boards are all traced out here - http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=471958
