If you're using routing (or worse, proxying)*, you'll have to deal with all kinds of port-forwarding crap. I last used winroute in 2002 or so, and it was obsolete back then: Linux did everything it promised to, but better and for free. Now Windows does everything you need too, if you're not a large office complex.
In short, way better to use Windows' ethernet bridging. Better still to just buy the wireless adapter.
* If you look at the incredibly outdated and irrelevant OSI model, bridging happens at layer 2, routing layer 3, and proxying layer 7. Without a lot of port-forwarding and DNS black magic, the 360 won't even work behind a proxy.
