I flashed this drive first time no problems a couple days ago at my friends house but now that I bought a sata cable I decided to give ripping games a try. Ive been trying to get it into mode b for 4 hours..... . Slax will not put it into mode b. There is no "Spinning up drive" message. Ive tried Slax 2.0 and Slax 2.1 neither showed a difference. My bios finds the drive with no problem what so ever before and after slax. Whats wrong!? Help!

your PC's sata card may not be compatible, verify the sata chipset is supported

I have the exact same issue with my Elite.

My arcade pack that came with H0079FL is all good, Slax put it in mode b and did the rest, but my Elite with H0079FK not even recognized in Slax????

Bios sees the drive but Slax doesn't somehow, and I know my set up is complete.

Well, today I'll give Podger's Mode B exe and see what happens.

Anyone one else knows why this can happen? and Please discard the most common errors that we all know about. This is not common.

Thanks
