The old ones did. Anyway, it's way too much money, but it is convenient as Hell.

You also get the HDD adaptor with it. I know it's labelled as free, but it's there nonetheless.

Do you know what chipset that USB to RS232 adaptor uses and if it's compatible with dvdkey/dvdkey32? How do you intend to connect that USB to RS232 with your PC and the liteon?

If you have the V2 kit, just buy the V3 Lite if you want to. I've already modded my V2 no have no use for either.

No matter what people say about Xecuter just here to make money out of people, all I can say is a BIG BIG thank you to them for releasing this sort of equipment!

There are a lot of people out there (including myself) who rely on people making this sort of thing for them, it may not be to everyones liking but it makes life so much easier for the other 90% of people out there.

Big up Xecuter!

Regards

So, if you pick up either of these 2 units, what is involved in using them to dump a LiteOn key? I know you would have to solder the 2 points on the drive, but would there be any other soldering involved?

I to would like to thank Xecuter, for me these kits have made it so easy to flash all the versions of the DVD roms & without it i would have been pretty much screwed.

Keep up the good work Xecuter, there are still some of us out here who appreciate all the hard work involved.

I think that there is one person who's making a lot of money from people. 360 Connectivity Kit V3 Pro. RRP $49.95 and the Maximus 360Xtractor RRP £34.99 ($64.45). dry.gif

There's a nice guide somewhere on how to mess around with a Lite-On drive.

Yes, you'll still need to bridge the serial port lines.
