Upon upgrading to XBMC-SVN_2008-06-30_rev13851-T3CH on a new xbox using AID 4.30 I now have the following issue:

There is now this lame text that says "XBMC Media Center Videos", and I really want to remove it! I can not for the life of me figure out where this is in the xmls and would really appreciate help getting rid of the text. Below are some links to images to help clarify

i haven't noticed this on my xbmc in the past but why don't you just upgrade to the latest build?

I have tried a few of the newer builds and they all have the same upgrade which adds this txt.

I had upgraded from a 07 build to the 5.4.08 on a previous xbox and had with help (thanks AmyGrrl) found and fixed the xml file for that build.... but when I tried it again on the newer one(s) the "fix" does not work and I am stumped. I think it was in myvideonav but at this point I am just looking for some direction if not direct help on trying to fix this, and I thank you in advance.

Moved to (XBMC) Skin Development, which is the appropriate forum to post in upon seeking skin customization help.

EDIT: I poked around the MyVideo.xml and removed the below listed label controls, which removed the text you want gone.

<control type="label">
<description>XBMC label</description>
<posx>200</posx>
<posy>43</posy>
<align>right</align>
<label>9</label>
<font>special12</font>
</control>
<control type="label">
<description>description label</description>
<posx>207</posx>
<posy>43</posy>
<align>left</align>
<label>3</label>
<font>special13</font>
<visible>IsEmpty(Container.PluginName)</visible>
</control>

Thank you so much, and boy do I feel silly as I had removed both those control sections, just not at the same time!

I have added this to the hard copy of my mod notes this time so I will not forget... and again thanks and bless you!
