Alright, trying to narrow down on what this could be with little luck.

Recently, on Vista, I've noticed that my laptop, after being woken from sleep mode tends to not be able to recover. The entire OS would simply lock up, items could be clicked on the desktop but they wouldn't open or even phase the processor for that matter.

So, seeing as the laptop was already loaded to the tits with useless junk anyways, I formatted and went back to XP.

Well, what's odd is the problem has carried over to XP as well, indicating it's a hardware problem. XP simply disables all forms of input, sits there for about a minute, then BSODs.

I checked the event viewer and there's no record of the error, even though it did dump all it's physical memory (you'd think it would have enough time to drop a few lines in the log but nooo).

Umm, I just completely forgot the stop code so I'm going to post this and do it again... rolleyes.gif

Oh shit, there's a whole guide to it. nvm shoulda Googled harder.
