I just picked up a Wii from walmart. I opened it up and on the chipset it had GC2-D2E. I've searched around and it looks like the one to get is the D2pro9 V3. Soldering is not a problem for me, because I do it just about every day.
Any one else has a different opinion of another modchip that they prefer? smile.gif Just looking for opinion of what someone else used and how it worked from them.

I recommend the wiikey2. The white sticker one will require you to solder 9 wires as you have a d2e. I hear the yellow sticker one only requires 6 wires to be soldered.
