yeah... this holiday is going to be the end of xbox 360's 3 year long blip
"bullish" and PS3 don't belong in the same sentence unless Sony is planning some massive price cuts or has an unstoppable line up exclusives...
To be honest I couldn't think of what the PS3 had coming out the rest of the year... I mean Their last biggest release was Resistance 2... I know this because there's a giant pile of unsold Collector's Editions sitting on the counter at my local GameStop... I'm guessing it didn't sell too well.
I decided to pop over to Gamestop.com to see what's on the release list for the rest of the year...
The _ONLY_ PS3 exclusive that they have listed as coming out at all before the new year was
SingStar ABBA EditionI'm not even kidding... I couldn't make something up that good if I tried.
as for xplat games all they have are tired franchise sequels that wont do much for anyone... Sonic, Destroy All Humans, and Prince of Persia...
I don't see any of that as ever, even in the most stretched definition of the word being representative of the term "bullish".
Granted the 360 doesn't have much coming out either... but they did just get a price cut and they do have some decent bundles... and looking at what was released over the last week 360 got both Left 4 Dead (a Valve Exclusive) and Last Reminent (A Square-Enix Exclusive)....
the sad reality is that now that walmart is selling blu-Ray players for $150 you can get a 360 and a BR player for less than a PS3, so their "value" proposition doesn't even hold much weight anymore.
