Posted by XanTium | December 1 21:41 EST | News Category: Xbox360

From team-xecuter.com:
[QUOTE]
We are pleased to announce this very simple add-on for the CK3 Lite and CK3 Pro. It allows the extraction of the Liteon keys without having to solder anything. Very easy to use and a must for all CK3 users - simply replace the green DVD power cable that is supplied with the CK3. Stocks are shipping next week to major suppliers.

i bend the end of a paperclip and bridge the connections (by holding it) for the 20 seconds or so it takes the Ck3 pro to dump the files. my preferred method unless these cost 5 - 10$.

I would just wait . Word on the irc is that C4EVA is almost done with the 1.5 firmware . He said its all software flash and dump. He just needs to finish up the custom firmware .So we might not need this . And i did buy the the CK3 Pro btw.

[00:14] <c4eva> 1.5 - open tray power on support for windows inquiry/fw unlock mode
[00:14] <c4eva> 1.5 - enhanced "bad angle" support
[00:15] <c4eva> 1.5 - single speed only (12x)
[00:15] <c4eva> 1.5 - enhanced SS support for spoofing
[00:16] <c4eva> 1.5 - more secure firmguard - benq only
[00:18] <c4eva> 1.5 - Benq 6039 (1319L) version!
[00:20] <c4eva> 1.5 for liteon will come soon, work on fw continues by the team!
[00:22] <c4eva> liteon fw is complicated, but im optimistic the team will solve it soon!

2008-11-30 (in #fw):
[03:42] <c4eva> flashing liteon is easy, all software, all this has already been done!
[03:43] <c4eva> the team is working on the fw, patience!
[03:47] <c4eva> The team has several liteon dumps and flash back to any liteon perfectly! Patience!

I found this on another site.

How does this thing compare to the spear by maximus? It's not too complicated. It gets power from the ck and then pulses some bidirectional data to the ck and back. It basically says hello, start dumping. It's simple. It's good for people that don't have the soldering skills(I guess)

actually its not bidirectional. the computer says 'start dumping' over the SATA connection.
so this is really just a pin which is directly connected to the Tx pin on the power connector, which then goes through the rs232 converter on the CK3.
the other wire is to supply power for the LED's.

it's a great little tool for people who are ignorant.
pretty harsh i know, but you can make one of these from household materials without soldering. (minus the LED's which look like a waste anyway)

yet again xecuter putting out some crappy product to make some quick cash.... let me guess this will sell for $30+?? for nothing more than a bit of cable, a needle n an led.... like previously said this is something u can make at home pretty quick, hell even without soldering if u want (tho soldering would b better).

cheers
