Hey, what happens when I plug the power cable on the opposite side? It smelled like burned and now it`s not working. Is it fixable now, what do you guys think?

open the drive and check for damage. see if anything looks damaged and then report back to us with your finding. It does not sound good though.

I don`t see any visual damage, but the place where you do the soldering for key dumping DOES smell like a short circuit. sad.gif

Another guy did this same thing before... I couldn't find the thread, but he burned out the 3.3v rail. Check your resistors, see if one is burned. The one the other guy burned was a 0ohm... basically used for the purpose of preventing you from ruining anything if you plug the cable in wrong. In his case, he just soldered across it bridging the points that were connected by the resistor.
