I remember reading a while back that someone was making a MOD device that mounted on top of the console. It was hooked up to the SATA controller inside and that way you would not need to open up the system each time to upgrade the firmware.

does anyone know what i am talking about? If you do, was it successful and what was the name of the product?

thanks

There was a couple, the main one was Team Xecuter's Blaster360 I really wouldnt bother with any of this gear, really new firmware updates are so rare there is absolutely no point in this gear, dont waste your money, Its a year since the last update so really not worth it.
