Hi Everyone,

So, I've liked the Silverlight gadgets, and the gamercard gadgets, but they've all had a number of shortcomings for me. Things like how Silverlight can't be transparent, and you always have to manually enter your friends, and you can only have a certain number on many of the existing gadgets. Below is the gadget I've built that solves all of these issues.

Are you saying that Vista 'sucks', or are you saying that the fact you don't have vista sucks?

Lets please stay on topic, and not let this turn into a Vista bashing or supporting thread.

Thanks.

Looks like on some machines the ActiveX settings browser wasn't registering properly. I think I've fixed that issue, though it *may* have lead to another issue I'm experiencing on one computer only. If logging in through the settings window doesn't work, let me know the details described in the updated first post.

Btw, just re-adding the gadget to the sidebar will check for an updated version.

Thanks.

This gadget is pretty cool, and props to you for taking the time to make it. If I could make a recomendation, if you can have the "online" status changed to the name of the game the person is playing I think that would make a huge difference, I mean we can tell that the person is online already from the green text, no reason to repeat that they're online, why not let us know what they're doing/playing.

The gadget is a great idea. But it doesn't seem to work for me at all.

I installed the link from the original post, and every time I login from the settings window, it asks me to update to v0.02b.

If I click okay, it brings me to http://www.nosolutions.com/gadgets/FmstratsXboxLive/

Which redirects me to this page.

If I click cancel nothing happens.

Is there something I'm missing here, how am I supposed to download v0.02b?

Same here. With the time lapse between your post and the one before it, I'm guessing it's not being supported anymore. sad.gif
