I've tried looking for several hours to find something with no luck - sorry if this is a FAQ (didn't see it in the FAQ section).
I recently heard through the grapevine that there is a mod for upgrading the video chip and/or processor so that hi-def video will process better. I have a modded xbox (v1.6) with xecuter3 chip I soldered in about 2 years ago. I simply do not want to let go of my xbox, but a dvd player may have to take over in this department. Anyone know about this? |

there are ways to upgrade the CPU, but this is definately not a DIY job for the average modder (last i checked someoen was selling a 1ghz xbox in BST)
although ive heard it doesnt help much for video playback |
