Hi All getting a new Elite for chrimbo and as the FW Due Weds i Wondered will i be as safe as i am with an ms28 flashed.

Basically will the risk be equal from and old first model as it will be with the new liteon drives. ???

There is no stoping there being a risk.

but when 1.5 comes out it will be even more secure online.
1.5 also comes out for the sammy drives so just flash em both.

Theoretically speaking, there shouldn't be. But we don't exactly know what is causing MS to bann people, yet it's most likely the bad rips that are the main source of MS's banning. So the drive type shouldn't make a difference..
