so i think the firmware is erased. i did this in jungleflasher while it was connected to my via card but as soon as it was erased it froze. so i connected it to my intel chipset on my mobo and i get this:

Sending Vendor Intro to port 0xFE20
Invalid Status
Re-sending Vendor Intro:
Manufacturer ID: 0x0
Device ID: 0x0
Flash Name: Unknown type
Flash Size: n/a

and everytime i click write it says invalid status. drive won't eject and when i put it back on via computer freezes. just want to fix this.

it froze with me also

you will have to make a bootable flash drive..then flash with dosflash

how long should this blink

erasing.....

i am getting this when i do the write. i read that it may say erasing but it seems to hold here for a while. i'll just let it go see what happens.

when using dosflash and doing responding to [W] and then entering the file, it is hanging at Erasing...

when i did [LITEON E] there it said erasing then finished. so i power cycled came back and did [W] again and its hanging at Erasing... again.

ahhh i just want to get this thing flashed....

got it to work. just had to hook it up to the master spot on my via card.

What have you done ?
I'm in the same situation...

Already "loaded" the fw to the Firmware Tool32, key, inquiry, ix15.bin, etc.. and Spoof Source to Target, but I can't do "Write" :


Getting Status from port 0xEC00
Invalid Status

Unable to flash via dosflash in bootable media.

What can I do now ?

Having same exact problem as you dikx but i havnet tried dosflash yet trying to get my usb stick bootable.
