Hello!

In order to connect my Xbox 360 drive to my connectivity kit and my PC without everything look like a mess, I will need to extend one of my powercables and SATA-cables.

I need both cables to be somewhere around 150-200cm. However, SATA only supports 100cm, while eSATA supports 200cm. Since eSATA is the very same as SATA (only another cable), is it possible to use one of those cables with my regular SATA-controller (with some sort of adapter)? Note that I do not have any eSATA-controller available.

What about the power? Is it possible to extend the cables with several "Y-cables"? Max length of those I've found is 50cm, so I would need 3-4 of those.

Thanks!
