I have the latest dash so im guessing i no longer have the required kernal. I want to change my machine region from PAL to JAP and ive read with the Infectus 2 this is made possible. However is there anyway i can back date my kernal?

The infectus is only useful to you if you have a console that can be downgraded. If it is, you have to use the timing attack to downgrade your system to the base kernel and then upgrade to an exploitable one. Once you've upgraded to an exploitable one, you use a modified shader to initiate the hypervisor exploit, which will allow you to obtain your CPU key. Once you have your CPU key you can change the region of your console.
