New Car: 2009 Focus Coupe, pics soon Options

So my new car finally got to the dealership, I couldnt get there today before the guy who handles lease transfers got off, so Ill be picking it up tomorrow.

Im pretty excited, its pretty much the same as the one i have now, but the smoothed out the front bumper and got rid of dumb accents.

I couldve waited to post this until tomorrow, but Im too excited.

Just picked it up. Very nice! It came with sync, which Im not sure if it was supposed to. My last one was supposed to but didn't, maybe they are being nice. A few things Im not happy with. It is plated in michigan where I live, but Im at school in missouri so we had it delivered to the dealership here. Well in michigan we only have a rear plate, and missouri has both. They went ahead and drilled holes in the front bumper for a plate. They also slapped their own badge on the back. The paint is also messed up on the "side skirt" or whatever its called.

I like it a lot better than the last one, the smoke head and tail lights, and smoked grill look great. So does the new shape of the bumper

Check both sides for the orange peel. If they both have it, it is supposed to be like that. My dads Ford truck is that way.

Ya both sides have it, i just havent seen that before. I dont notice it anymore. When it is super clean and shiny its pretty obvious.

I finally got a chance to mess around with the sync, and it is great. I thought it was just a gimmick before, but I am sold. I want this on every car. Basically just get a cheap mp3 player with big storage, even a dead battery, pop that thing in the usb port and drive. Just a press of a button and talking you can change to any track, artist, genre, playlist, or album, all without taking your eyes off the road. Calls are no different than most handsfree sets, but the fact someone can call, it pauses my music, shows me the number, i can answer or hang up, get done music starts right back in. Again without looking away from the road.

If you get a chance, definitely give it a try. About a year it wont be ford exclusive anymore.

If it is just on the side skirts, then its meant to be like that. Its a tougher paint for road debris, like rocks, and such. Just so it doesn't chip.

Looks awesome though. I wish my fusion had Sync.
