Tutorial number 4

After updating your DVD drive with the 0800 firmware, the DVD drive mimics the XBOX firmware commands. As a result of this update in firmware, the DVD drive’s eject function does not open and close. This fourth tutorial seeks to amend the disabled function, by implementing switches and rewiring the DVD drive. Overall, the objective of this tutorial commands the DVD drive to open and close without leaving the case open. This tutorial uses a Philips DROM 6316. The product of this tutorial alternatively saves the user money by investing in a rewired DVD drive instead of a pricier model i.e. Kreon drive. The drive is used to back up your retail games.

Here is the link to my PDF file on the project.
