Amazon Gets Xbox Live Store
Posted by XanTium | April 8 13:39 EST | News Category: Xbox360
From gamasutra.com:
Online retailer Amazon now has its own Xbox Live store. The retailer recently entered the arena of used games, and already has a downloadable PC game store -- and will now add Microsoft Points, XBLA games, and other subscriptions to its offering.
The new Amazon Xbox Live Store is currently in beta, and becomes the only other outlet besides Xbox Live Marketplace itself through which consumers can buy games and points digitally.
Customers who make purchases via Amazon's store will receive a download code they can use on Xbox Live Marketplace. The store beta launches with about 100 titles available, including Braid and Castle Crashers.
interesting, looks like they will be selling ms points at a discount price. (although the only discount price at the moment is for 4,000 points, and its $50 instead of $65)

Nice. i was looking for something like this. If only they accepted Paypal.
They do accept paypal. . . they just don't know it
Just download and install the paypal plug-in. It generates a virtual credit card number (Mastercard) so you can make your purchase anywhere that accepts credit cards. I use it on Amazon all the time to purchase mp3 albums
