With the Macs Apple could (and did) aim them at a different market, the more creative one (ie design software, music & video creation etc while MS kept the more business side) but with music players its near impossible to do that, 'cause when it comes down to it all they're meant to do is play music & video, the extras like games are just a bonus and the majority of people who look for portable devices that play games already own a PSP, DS or the like.

YEah.. HDMI from an MP3 player thats about 4 inches tall.....

180p or 2720p at that size would all look exactly the same... so there would be no point in them making it "HD".

Adding a touch screen... since they have been trying to add games for a while.....

Why exactly is this on an Xbox website? Anyway HD on that size of a screen is pretty pointless, so they better have more planned than that.

The iPod outputs to component. Why can't the zune output to HDMI?

On a screen that small, it's pointless to have resolutions that high unless you can output it to something bigger.

Now that I look at the picture again, it looks like there is only one button, so it must be touch screen.

Cause the Zune is a microsoft product, its marketplace also uses MS points, it also makes use of the LIVE network and cause it can be connected to the Xbox.
