For the past week or so i have been having trouble with my MS28 drive reading disks (backups and orginals).
Today it has decided not to ready any discs at all not even once.. Been trying for the past 3 hours on and off..
I have tried cleaning the laser of the drive, re flashing.. and so forth but nothing has helped..
Anyone know what the problem is, would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

if it tried really hard to read the disks (lots of crunching and gnashing sounds), it could be that the laser if knackered. the laser itself is very cheap to buy, and saves you having to replace the drive and spoof it or replace the key. well cheap on ebay
