My Modded Xtv - Lite & Clean, Also using different backgrounds! Options

I put the build in a folder called "Dashboards" before loading it. I admit that I (stupidly) updated the XBE without using a test build. (I've been doing that for a while with emu betas so I didn't think better of it)

Before you hear any more from me, I will try to use this new XBE I have on a completely new XBMC build.

replacing XBEs randomly at any fashion, ha ha ha!

I know man... I got careless is what I'm saying. Who cares if I mess up an emu with a bad XBE, right? I wasn't thinking when I did that to my dash though. I'm pretty sure I could recover it, but why take the chance and waste all that time?

I just got the newest build available at the usual place and I still am limited to the choices I mentioned before (says it was released on 2-18-09)

Is this something wrong with the PM3 skin? Those other icon view options are not there.

I have this build of XBMC in my Applications folder. It is a fresh build.

Either there is something hosing up my settings, or you've got something that isn't available at the usual spot.

Man,
I am REALLY sorry, but the problem looks like to be on your end:

1. Or you are not going to the right place to GET the VIEWS working
2. Or your XBMC configs are broken

I advise you to try a WINDOWS/LINUX/MACOS build and FIND the stuff you are looking for.
If you still CAN NOT GET the views, so, the problem is definetely on your side, and not on your Xbox XBMC!

PS. All my builds are T3CH and not pimped ones.
Another suggestion: Maybe you can try to install the xTV skin?
Try it... Let's see if you can locate the views by then!!

Trying the skin will be the last thing I do. This stuff seems way too complicated for me. The build I have is an untouched T3CH build from the only place you can officially get them, pre-compiled, and it is only 2 months old.

Where do I get the skin?

I thought there was only one place. You look at the icons, and you can select which icon view you want.

That couldn't be possible if I have a fresh XBMC build, right? That's what I've been asking. Where are the config files that are not within the XBMC folder?

HAHA!!!!

Don't sweat it man. I was getting frustrated, but that's because I like results on the first try. I'm impatient like that..... In fact, I was pulling my hair out with this one.

I definitely look forward to seeing your setup. I hope it goes well with my wide icons as well as the great boxart views. It looks like it will match up with Gilles' Dynamic Skins well too.

Oh... by the way dude. I know I've posted about it in several spots now, but just in case you didn't see it, madmab cut the load time for .CUT files in half. I assume you're a pretty big .CUT fan with all that work you've been doing on the XBMC skins, so just letting you know you've got that to look forward to.

Very nice work there Cospefogo... I know others have asked for d/l as well, is there any chance you can share your work. I've tried the xTV skin & though I appreciate the excellent work involved--I found it kinda plain for my liking. You seem to have livened it up..colors & whatnot. If it is your personal creation, I understand--but if you decide to share....I'd appreciate it.
