Posted by XanTium | May 20 10:48 EST | News Category: Xbox360
From team-xecuter.com: [QUOTE] We have recently updated the Xecuter Xbox 360 Glow Mod so here is a fresh diagram.
For those that don't know the glow mod is a simply chip that makes your ring of light pulse green or red when in standby mode. Cool feature for modders and only a simple 5 wires. On sale now at www.ck3.co.uk for £4.95

Does this mean the light circle blinks when you have the system off? People want this?
Really. I have to put duct tape over the thing just to keep it from annoying the crap outta me when it's blinking to tell me it's downloading while "off".

The whole idea started years ago with the original xbox, a guy modded his ROL to fade in and out while it was off(/standby) just like Apple Macs do, then people asked for the custom board he made to become available, and now im guessing Xecuter picked up the idea with the 360 version.

agree - regardless of anyone's personal opinion of the mod - this is a much easier mod with only a few solder points...
Not sure about much easier. Our Fader has one more solder point, but that is only so you can use the power button to turn the chip off, or set it to just dim the lights or turn them on if you don't like the fading.
