360 has recently started freezing all the time. Just turn it on today, put game in crashed then reset and again it crashed. The third time 360 crashed before got into a game on the dashboard.

Any ideas on what I could use to fix this?

Should I try Xclamp?

Edit. Just tried it again. Now I seem to have a problem with the disc tray, it wont open, it just starts then stops.

quit breaking shit...ur making it worst....just kidding

for the freezing i would assume its a ram problem which would warrant a reflow

for the dvd tray you may need to do some operation. test if it ejects while out of the case.

I have the same problem and it happens after i updated the firm to 1.6.
It's a Falcon with Benq drive... Anyone help!!

Now that the disc tray as started to not open, the freezing seems to have stopped. Damn 360s lol, neither had this problem with my PS2, XBOX, Gamecube, Wii lol

I had this and I had the RROD soon after you could get it to.
I am sending my 360 off to get it repaired in a reflow oven which seems the best way to fix problems with your console.

since you said the freezing was cause by the dvd drive. did u flash? if so downgrade if not try flashing.

before it thought it froze during gameplay.
