Many thanks for this amazing application!

I already have a WD 120GB HDD that used previous version of HddHack in my Xbox running fine, Do I need to upgrade to this version?

This version makes the HDD safer or not?

Tkx!

LOL, the Raptor series. Why would you want to put that in a 360. Its a wast of money because it is more useful in a desktop. Besides, you would need to solder and extra 12v line because that drive won't power off of 5 volts. Plus your taking away the cooling from the hard drive, no doubt you will get a shorter lifespan.

I think i'm going to go ahead and try this. I know most people think Microsoft won't ban for it, but if they end up doing so do you think i can convince them to unban me?

i don't see any reason why they wouldn't be. i put a wd1600bevs (160 gig drive) in mine, so the tool definitely supports drives bigger than 120 gigs. just be aware that the usable space on your drive is only going to be as much as your signed security sector. this means that you can put a bigger drive in, but only 120 gigs will be usable (well, technically a little less than that because of what the system reserves, but you get my point)

great work on the update guys!

You could have the drive in a fanned enclosure or something which would solve the heating issues. And this would be useful for loading games real fast but yeah, not really worth it.

WD Velociraptor series laugh.gif . So now you can use a 10,000 RPM drive that rivals some SSDs for speed. That could do wonders for load times if you rip a game to the HDD.
