Okay, so money is tight and could only afford to pick up a usb xtractor from maximus.. everything connects up fine and dandy until i get to the dvd drive tray part... i know its the problem because i can see the drive in jungle flasher, the com port shows the usb xtractor and when i click the "get key" button on the usb xtractor, jungle flasher starts to read and gives me the bad key error..

i should also let it be known i'm using windows seven latest version...

all drivers and everything such as port IO installed correctly so i'm in a bit of a pickle

I stopped suggesting that after I've found most n00bs here have zero soldering experience.

Sorry cant edit, heres the steps i'm doing because i can't seem to find a tut so i'm walking on my own type deal

First start Jungle Flash
2: get COM port set to 3 (spear is set for 3)
3: Power up the xbox 360, hit eject and let the dvd rom tray come out, then push back in but hold half way
4: take the "spear" maximus xtractor and put to the 707 hole, click the button on the xtractor.
5: Jungle firmware attempts to read, shoots back bad key
