Backup Loading Problem Options

I just softmodded my friends wii and he brought a few backups over.

At first we got error #002

Then I downloaded a different backup loader and now it will load the game, shows the warning not to hit anything screen, then it will say it can't read the disc. I eject it, put it back in, it starts reading and works for a second, then rejects it again.

I tried the backups in my Wii which has a modchip installed and they worked fine. One disc was a verbatim and other was a memorex. Games were burned at slowest speed possible and he ripped them with a 8164b.

Any ideas on what it could be or settings I could change. I remember the backup loader was titles something about error #002 fix and gamma something. The games were mad world and the conduit. We were able to load the game backup of bash blox just fine in his Wii. Also its 4.0u

Are you loading from the Homebrew Channel or game launcher?

Are you using gecko OS with 002 fix?

What Cios rev are you running (10, 13a, 13b, etc)
Have you tried a different revision?

I use rev 10, but I load from the disc channel with CiosCORP on 4.0u (I know, not recommended) not a lodaer

Well it was a media issue, guess his system is anal about some discs.

I have my personal wii hardmodded and I put on system menu 4.1 and used preloader with 4.1u hacks on mine.
