Hi ALL YOU GUYS.

1st Great site.

An old friend of mine loaded homebrew, believe was Panada hack (with battery)
Was works SWEET as. my son then was at friends house and load a UMD.
Now would see ISO etc.

Is there a easy way to correct this, please.
I looked in the topic at top of list but couldn't see the answer.

Any help, THANKS to ALL.

Sorry, but I'm not understanding this part. What exactly is happening? Are you talking about the ISO folder on the PSP's memory stick?

BUT hoping can get it playing the ISO's again.

So an update was run on the PSP from the UMD? Thats not good. The update must have flashed an official firmware over your custom firmware...meaning you now have a boring stock PSP.

On the main PSP menu (the "XMB") go to system (all the way to the left) then system settings, then system information. Then look at what it says for System Software. If its just numbers, you have a stock PSP again. If it says M33 or OE or if there are any other letters there, its still hacked but your settings just got messed up somehow.

Another easy way to check. turn off the psp. hold the power switch up until it shuts off. Then Hold the R trigger and switch on the psp. If you see a recovery menu, its hacked. if it simply boots up, its stock.

also-
you said "ISOs from the game folder"
ISOs go in the ISO folder at the root of the memory stick. example, patapon would go here--> "X:\ISO\Patapon.iso". Eboots go in "X:\PSP\Game"

Hi you guys (and girls)

I went home and checked as unforginally
its the official PSP stock software v 4.05.

So is there a way to reset back, so can read ISO.

I have looked threw the FAQ section, but can't see anything
relating to my issues.

Any ideas.? Thanks all for your help so far..!!!

Hi,

Just a little more info.
I left PSP on all weekend so battery would drain.
But this didn't 'fix' anything, probally a stupid idea.
But tried it anyhow.

Any further ideas would be great.
Cheers

Hi Guys,

Was also reading further into the guides.
But unsure if anything there would fix this 'not reading ISO' fault.

If anyone can point in in the right direction would be great..!

you need to have your PSP re flashed with custom firmware. Get your friend to do the Pandora hack on it again and you will be fine. Make sure your son doesn't update it again though
