Hi!
I've an xbox v. 1.4 with an Aladdin Advance 64 (or +, I don't know).
It works with power switch:
.press <1sec: xbox strarts WITHOUT modchip
.1sec press and hold: xbox starts WITH modchip.

If I reboot xbox from xbmc (my default dash), xbox starts WITHOUT modchip (probably because rebooting signal is <1sec).

I want that modchip is always on. How can I do that? Where I have to mod?
Here the Aladdin Diagram.

I cannot find istructions and working modes for this chip. There's only a schematic.
Thanks for help.

According to the diagram, disconnect the chip's "D0" line. Then, connect the D0 on your xbox MoBo to ground (also on your xbox mobo) and the chip will be "always on".

EDIT: Alternatively, you could wire in a toggle switch installed in the back to turn chip control on or off. wink.gif
