I have an Asian 40gb unit with a duff laser, and a 60gb Jpn unit.

The 40gb one i only really want for Play TV, so is it possible to use the dvd drive out of the 60gb machine to read and install the Play TV disc, then swap it back over?

I understand the pcb in the drive will have to go over aswell, are these the same physically in the 40 and 60gb machines?
