I've released the original xbox has never been blessed with a 2D worms release instead we were given craptastic 3D games with spotty controls.

I've done a bit of browsing on team 17 *the developer* and I'm sure that they can release the source code for Worms Armageddon or World Party as they have done so for a community member to update patches for the game.

So a good amount of support is still put into these game from the developers and i can't Imagine the PC renditions not working on the xbox. With a large community and possibly a source code to boot I can see little reason that this would be a bad idea as roller coaster tycoon was on the xbox in commercial form no less!

Nay sayers can speak their peace now but I figured that the idea should be put on the table.

Thoughts?

Why don't you go and ask them if we can have the source...

This.

Not much else to say about the subject if there's no source to port.

You're right, the 3D ones were crap. It would be nice to have the old school 2D ones on Xbox...

Would love to see it happen, but just thought I'd mention for the sake of anyone that doesn't know that both the original Worms and Worms World Party play 100% perfectly on PSCXbox.

Good times. happy.gif

Might as well stick with that as my topic I started over at Team 17's forum got deleted in an instant, guess some things aren't meant to be.
