Hi All,

I just bought a new 360, I'm assuming it'll be a Lite-On drive, if it's either of the unmoddable 83850c V2 or 93450c revision I was going to sell it.

Is there any easy way to check which it is you have... preferably without voiding the warranty? I realise it says 74850c, 83850c or 93450c on the top of the drive, so the one I'm mostly unsure about is 83850c vs 83850c V2.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Thanks for the reply, it's an Elite, dated 21st July 09. Seems like that's really close to the dates when they switched from the V1 -> V2 so I'm not sure how to tell.

sounds like you will be good. i think the first unhackable started showing up was made in august. your drive may even be older than your box. your cutting it close
